Information is one of the most important values of modern life. Every day, government agencies and private organizations collect, store, process and transfer significant amounts of data about individuals. Development of technology in a way that allows people to share information and disseminate it worldwide, leads to dangerous situations such as the loss of control of individuals' information and their use against them. Protection of personal data is a right that individuals have to defend themselves against unauthorized use of their data by other individuals or organizations. With the adoption of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6098 (LPPD), a new period has started in our country and the aforementioned law imposes some obligations on the data managers while enforcing citizens' rights against natural and legal persons defined as data responsible. These obligations mainly concern the companies' information processing and human resources departments.

  • Determination and analysis of the obligations of the clients under LPPD
  • Providing the necessary cooperation with the IT departments during the creation of the data recording systems that the clients should use in order to fulfill the related obligations and providing the necessary support for the compliance of the data recording systems currently in use with the obligations under LPPD
  • Preparation and / or revision of the contracts that clients have to sign up with their customers or business partners under LPPD
  • Providing in-house awareness training to all relevant departments within the Data Responsible (law, HR, IT, marketing, public relations, etc.) in order to fully comply with the obligations under LPPD
